Former Upright Law and Orbitz exec brings more than a decade of operations and strategy experience to lead service delivery and global business.
Chicago, IL – Envoy, the technology leader in global immigration and workforce mobility, announced today that Manu S. Sivanandam will be joining the company as its new Chief Operating Officer. Sivanandam joins Envoy with more than 15 years of operations, strategy and marketing experience.
In this role, Sivanandam will oversee Envoy’s service delivery, which streamlines and centralizes the process of securing global work authorization and managing talent mobility for companies around the world. Sivanandam’s responsibilities will include managing relationships with Envoy-affiliated service providers, growing global service delivery, and continuing to evolve Envoy’s offerings for its customers.
Prior to assuming the COO role at Envoy, Sivanandam served as vice president of marketing and strategy at Upright Law, a leading tech-enabled legal services provider focused on bankruptcy, and vice president of customer marketing and business operations at Orbitz Worldwide. He was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Sivanandam holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cambridge University.
“Manu’s expertise, not just in strategy, but also in managing makes him an excellent addition to our team,” said Envoy CEO Dick Burke. “He has the experience and potential to expand Envoy’s global capabilities, and increase our ability to offer the best in work authorization solutions to our array of clients. We couldn’t be happier to have him join our team.”
Manu joins Envoy during a period of record growth, scaling and product innovation. Envoy grew 25 percent in 2017, secured a $21 million investment from Catalyst Partners, and evolved their technology with new budgeting and workforce planning tools, compliance features, and multi-factor data security.
“The legal industry is an increasingly open space for innovation and disruption–especially as it pertains to highly complex and process-driven work like global immigration,” Sivanandam said. “I’m thrilled to join Envoy in this exciting time as we continue innovating and delivering the best of solutions to our customers – empowering them to move their best and brightest talent around the globe.”
